BB is Ball Bearing

Actually Spudzilla, you were correct a BB Gun does use compressed air and fires small lead pellets (Ball Bearings, heance the BB in the name). The guns in Bali however are not BB guns. They use springs and fire little plastic pellets. If you get hit at point blank range, they do hurt a little bit but not much. My son has had a few and the biggest pain is the balls left everywhere. The guns don't last long anyway as they are cheap plastic. Most will be lucky to last a week before they brake.
