Where to stay...help pls

We got back a few weeks ago and stayed at MBR for 2 weeks. It was good, especially the location, but for some reason we didn't really relax at the hotel very much (around the pool, etc). We are planning to go again next year but may consider staying somewhere else. What is the LBH like? What other "budget" hotels are there that are on the beach in Legian Kuta area? Any recommendations cosidered. Thanks in advance.
