The flight time is approx 5hrs 45 mintues there and 5hrs 30 return. I went to the $2 shop before leaving last time and got a few bits and pieces that I could give to my daughter on the flight over to keep her occupied. She is only 5 and wasnt interested in the movie.
In relation to first aide. All the bits and pieces I got her I left for the local kids. Like colouring pencils and books cheap plastic barbies and floate rings and card games. re first aide -Perhaps take something that you may need to use imediatley to treat a cut or graze. After the initial first aide treatment you can get what you need at a shop. Bandaides and things are easy to get and very cheap over there infact friends of mine stocked up to bring some home. I took sunscreen and insect repelent althought didnt need it - the insect repelent. I would consider some anticeptic cream. But then I always take this on even local trips. You may consider getting some imoden or similar from the chemist in case you get tummy problems. I also took rasberry cordial to ward of Bali Belly. Other wise pack light. Stick to lightweight simple clothng as anything more you need you can get over there.
