Hi big pete,
We have just got back from 2 weeks at the bali garden hotel with kids 9,11,13 from melb and we did a tour through the people who picked us up from the airport.They were 400,000 for the day which there were seven of us. considering petrol has increased.we left at 8.30am and returned at 7.00pm,but we rode the elephants at Taro and had to wait about an hour.Our itinery was : silversmiths,woodcarving village,Family compound,Kintamani for lunch which was50,000rp ea for lunch,then the elephant park,Ubud markets,monkey forest then back to hotel.It was a long day but kids were good as they got to buy something on the way.The main things I needed were bandaids and panadol for kids and something for after sun.Igot the kids panadol and soothing gel from guardian chemist in discovery mall.Enjoy your holiday link
