We were in Bali 2 weeks ago and saw a globe factory outlet on the road to Denpasar. If you are leaving Kuta from Bemo Corner end after going over the bridge there is a petrol station on the right hand side. Go through the traffice lights straight ahead and you will see the globe outlet on the left hand side about 200metres along. It has big red banners (GLOBE) - you cannot miss it. We did not go to Macro this trip so can't tell you if there is one on that road.
P.s. If you get to another set of traffic lights you have gone too far.
To walk to it would take about half an hour from bemo corner.
