Hi Moosey,
We took the shuttle bus, which is cheaper than a car. About 70,000 each I think. On the way, we took the Perama Shuttle. I wouldn't recommend it. The bus is awful - no suspension so you get thrown around everywhere. It charges you extra to pick you up from your hotel, and it takes four hours as it goes to Sanur, Ubud etc on the way. Then, it drops you at the Perama office, which is way outside the centre of Lovina, and then charges you more to get into the centre.
However, I wouldn't write off the shuttle bus completely. On the way back, we used a different company that only charged us 50,000, and didn't charge us extra to pick us up. It was a comfortable small mini bus with air-con and took under 3 hours direct.
Perama can be good for some things, but the shuttle bus to Lovina isn't one of them.
