I have not stayed at Intercont but have stayed at Ritz Carlton 5 times. They have the best breakfast in bali, also have a new pool area and new restaurant and martini bar. The grounds are beautiful rooms very spacious and well appointed. The staff are just beautiful and after so many visits have lots of friends there. If you stay tell them Miss Sharon and Miss Jenny recommended. Chris Clark is the Assistant Manager and just a delight. the girls at the cashier for breakfast are deligtful. the pools are great with the best views over the ocean. WE are going back next September for a week. It is a long way from Kuta but only takes about 20 minutes and 40000 in a taxi. There is a shuttle bus during the day. Cannot recommed highly enough.
