On Lombok there is a foundation called "One Garden". It provides medical help to handicaped and sick children from poor familys on Lombok. One Garden was founded by an Australian women living on Lombok and the foundation has up to today helped many children to a better life. This is the webaddress: www.onegardenlombok.org The foundation is run entirely on donated money from Australia and the local expat community on Lombok. There isn't any administrative fees or paychecks that eat up the donated money, it all goes to the different projects.
