Sue, if you do a search on this forum by using the search button at the start of this forum you can gather loads of information. search under "prescription glasses" or similar. I have kept some information and here it is(copied from forum)
PRESCRIPTION GLASSES
We took our prescriptions over and went to Melawai Optik which is located on the right hand side ground level in Centro. We would have had to pay $1,500 for 2 prs here in OZ but paid only $300 for 2 prs at Melawai and that was with top of the range lenses. They had to adjust Ken's script so you can have you eyes tested over there (they'll check them anyway) or BYO. What a saving huh!
