I went to Bali 3 weeks after the bombing in 2002. My family and I were in Phuket on Dec.26 and were lucky enough to have survived the Tsunami. I'm coming back to Bali with 11 others on Nov.6th. There's the bird flu, SARS, terrorism, natural disasters, terminal illnesses etc., etc., etc.
Where do you draw the line? I think when it's your time, that's when you draw the line. Until then, live each day like it was your last. When I looked around Phuket after the Tsunami it made me realize that you cannot protect yourself from everything that can harm you.
