it was impossible. We wanted to bring back a Kymco mooter scooter, but when you ring customs they tell you must have a permit from a transport section first before you deal with customs.
So I contacted them to be told that unless it was over 15 years old, you must have owned it for 12 months straight with proof and to have lived in that country for 12 months straight as well with evidence.
They would require all the purchase documents as well as photocopies of all the pages in your passport.
They sent me out the paperwork which still confirmed everything they said. The thought of a bright pink Kymco to buzz around on here and help with the price of petrol has now been placed in the tooooo hard basket.
Hope it helps
