The Kumala Pantai hotel is hard to beat for a mid priced hotel - I think about US$50 per room per night, it has lovely gardens and a great pool. The restaurant does a great breakfast and there are several good beachside restaurants, Zanzibar, Lanai, Blue Ocean & Tekor just outside the hotel on the beachfront. You are only minutes away from Rum Jungle Rd & Jalan Double 6 which are great low key shopping streets.
