MBR - Melasti beach resort is in a good location,3 pools, reasonably priced,breakfast included & would fit what you are looking for in Legian.It has beach front location as well as being close to the shops & many great places to eat.Also not too far to walk to S & S.
Our favourite in Ubud that has fridge,TV & air conditioning as well as wonderful indoor /outdoor marble bathrooms ,good breakfast included & a private courtyard with lockable gates is the Ubud Village.It is also reasonably priced for what you get & is only a 5 minute walk into town.Supermarket right across the road to get food,water & other liquid supplies at a cheap price & many very nice places to eat nearby.The staff are all very friendly & helpful.
In Lovina if you want the perfect place to chill out & relax but be close to everything I'd recommend the Rambutan cottages.Huge rooms,TV,big fridge,air con,walk in robes,great breakfast included & great pool & restaurant/bar area.Also friendly helpful staff & owners.

In case you don't know you often do better booking just your 1st few days to get your cheap airfare & sorting out prices with the other hotels as you go but that can sometimes depend on the time of year you go.As I said happy to chat off list if you like.
