your main reason for wanting to go to Bali is to party,there is so much more you really will love. However it's good to have fun and even if you feel wary of nightclubs there's nothing to stop you having a good time with friends at restaurants and your hotel.
Also day trips to other parts of Bali and rafting,snorkelling, even go karting are fun.
There are people there and many more still going so fear not. Not everyone has gone home.
