A few days ago I read some posts about 3 books on the more spiritual side of Bali. (The Other Side of Morning, The Dark Side of Paradise & The Importance of Being... In Bali) After searching for these books for some time and being told by all of the book stores that they were out or print I decided to contact the author himself (as it turns out he only lives 2 streets away from my house) Anyway I now have all three books. Ron is a wonderful man with a huge heart and an amazing love of Bali. Him and his Balinese partner have the most beautiful gardens with lovely birds and a pond in the shape of the island of Bali full of fish. At the moment these books are nearly imposible to buy in book stores in Australia but there are a few stores in Bali that are stocking them. Ron is happy to sell direct to the public and will sign them for you. He is also an amazing artist. There is a 4th book to be launched next year. These books are adictive and it opens your eyes to the side of Bali that tourists seldom see.
