My favorite Bali fantasy involves getting to Uluwatu just before the break of day and hiking around the area as it gets light. Is this feasible? Would I be at risk of monkey attack? Would I perhaps be offending local sensitivities? It appears to be a glorious, ancient, spiritual place and I would like to experience it with out all the hustle, showmanship and crowds. I might be out of line, but I like to at least try to fulfill my fantasies. Any suggestions?
