Why don't you just search their website? The NSW version comes from the central publishing. Their main page link. Just search from there. When I did I found loads of stories about Bali. One of them is probably the one you are looking for.
As an alternative, try a google or a yahoo search, using "October 9, 2005" Bali and "Sun-Herald" in the search.
