...after reading almost everyone's comments and views on whether to return/goto Bali yours was the one that inspired my fingers to start tapping out my own post.
Have been to Bali 10 times (3 of those trips this year) and as i type this i have full intentions of returning (next trip feb 2006).
Friends have recently returned from USA - while there the devastation of hurricane and floods, last time they were there was September 11 attacks of terrorism.
This friday they are off to Thailand and have been told not to eat chicken or eggs because of bird flu.
I have cousins working in London and were there for the bombing at the underground.
Pakistan has been turned into rubble and almost 20 000 killed.
Australia release statistics on road deaths on major highways for the last 10 years which was over 12 000.
The point i am getting at is, where is 100% safe??? Somethings are predicable and preventable and some things just arent, all we can do is be aware, sensible and take precaution where possible and enjoy life to the fullest where ever we are.
