A couple of million people are dead, not dying.
Of course, there will be many more deaths over the next few years from lack of access to clean water, medicines, electricity, and exposure to radiation. Just because the US military doesn't count them, that doesn't mean these people never existed.

And I believe the occupying army is fighting the insurgency. And killing a bunch of people around them as they go. But when did insurgents become more evil than an occupying army? The insurgency didn't exist until the occupiers came.
