intercontinental in May for 5 nights. Although the rooms and the grounds are beautiful, it is a very large impersonal hotel. The other hotel guests keep very much to themselves, so if you are looking for someone to have a chat with I doubt you will find it here. It is also very very expensive to eat or drink at the hotel. Personally I prefer somewhere smaller, friendly and where I don't have to worry how much it is costing me to have a drink at the pool bar. The good things are the breakfast is fantastic, staff very friendly and the kids club is great. If you are intending to spend a bit of time in Kuta, Legian and Seminyak you may find that the Intercontinental it is a bit too far away.
