Hi Ruthrat, I have stayed at Bali Hai 0n 14 occasions and can only recommend it, its location Right on the beach, its wonderful staff, its proximity to many good restaurants and Kuta itself.
Bali Hai faces out to sea with Kuta beach on its right and the airport runway on the left being a mere 1KM away. There isn't much noise. Its great having lunch at Pantai Rest just watching the flights landing. I don't know what you mean about "an enclosed harbour" as Bali Hai is on the natural sweep of the beach from Seminyak to the airport.

On the beach there are about 6 massage ladies and I have used both Rina (21) and Renita (25)for the past 5 years, they are both very good. If you go there plaese say "Mr Clive" says hallo and that he misses the daily massage.

Bali Rani does not have a beach front as it is located on the other side of JL Kartika Plaza while Santika does and is located nearer Kuta by about 250 metres from bali hai. I think Bali Hai is newer than Santika but when I walked through it (Santika)in August it seemed to be a rather nice place. We continue holidaying at Bali Hai as we know it so well now.
