I don't think a hep B vaccination is such a bad thing to have in terms of protection for a day to day basis- I had hepatitis B vaccination a few years back (I was about 12) due to being spat on (delightful I know) and mum thought it was a good idea as a general precaution anyway- I would have definitely had it by now though as I'm always working in a hospitals/healthcare environments for clinical placements for uni, and one of the major ones has it as their 'protocol' for starting placement there - that and (???) chickenpox. Hep A is caught through food etc so again, maybe not such a bad idea if travelling?

Hep A + Typhoid I had before I went to East Timor, a different environment, yes, but again, both diseases I would rather prevent. Polio, I don't know - we got vaccinated in yr 10 at school.

I don't know of any 'recommended' for Bali last time I checked with my travel dr. Tetanus I guess is important always anyway.

They're your kiddly winks and you have to choose whats going to be best for them!
