I've just come back from my second trip and had the same fears before going. Don't worry, only idiots doing the wrong thing get caught at Bali airport.
I had some prescription medication and my Doctor in Sydney gave me a letter about it. I was also worried about my painkillers but was not asked about any of it and didn't have any problems. Vitamins would not be a problem at all. Have a great trip, wish I was going again soon!
