This is the second trip back to Bali (for myself and my wife),but this time taking our two daughters (18 + 16yo) and our best friends and their daughter (15yo). After much discussion and 'do we or dont we',we have decided to go ahead with our trip over Xmas & New Year. The girls were the ones who put the pressure on not to cancel. Despite recent events we are all itching to go,and myself and my wife just want to get back to the place we both fell in love with 5 years ago. A lot may have changed but the Balinese are still there which is the main thing,(and my wife informs me great shopping,funny that!...and the girls arent looking forward to that ....yeh right!) Staying at Bali Ayu,Seminyak this time around which we heard is nice. Anyhow this was just a note to voice my happiness in going back,we think we are making the right decision for us and the Balinese. Cant wait for a nice cold Bintang and some great Bali food,shopping and fun. Anyone else going over at Xmas or new year give me a yell,we'll meet for a beer or three. Cheers.
