I bought some pearls at Almas enterprises on Jl Padma Utara Legian across the road from Merry's Leather & next door to R2U Wholesale shoe shop. Go there the prices are fixed but they have any colour, any size pearl & other stones/beads. You choose what you want & they will make it up for you to collect the next day. The shop has display cabinets & pearls hanging on the walls around the shop. I showed my to a jeweller & they told me they were real. They are fresh water pearls. They cost me Rp80,000 which were for 3 strands (Different Colours) twisted together. I brought single strands to give for presents to school teachers they cost me Rp30,000 each ($4 AUD) I don't think you will get a better deal for pearls than this shop especially from the guys on the beach & these pearls are exactly the same as the ones the guys are selling. Plus R2U is a great shoe shop & a few shops down on the same side they own a bag shop full of beaded hand bags It's great. Take your husband he can wait at the bar on the corner opposite Adika Sari Bungalows. After we had spent the morning in Pearl Shop, Shoe Shop & Handbag Shop we needed a cold Bintang & this place had COLD Bintangs. Happy Shopping Oh By the way Merry's Leather make great Leather Jackets.!!!!
