That drink would have been total luxury to her and the children and I was told by our driver once that the beggars can earn more money in a day than hotel staff and that the children belong to someone else in their villages. On our last trip this year I use to see a very old lady begging just up from The Discovery Kartika Hotel and I gave to her each day. Just the smile said it all. I assumed she lived in Tuban.
