Forum is fantastic to read and see the support for Bali and the locals. I'm travelling to Bali in Feb 2006 - Ironically I wanted to go and visit Poppies / Kuta as I 'lost' a friend in the 2002 bombings. Now want to go more than ever and feel better having read the recent entries in the forum. I have a few questions: WHat canI expect of the weather in Feb ?? Really hot so shop at night has been recommened to me but I'm travelling on my own - Is there any no-go zones or things that would be unwise for a solo traveller. I plan to shop, white water raft, shop, dive, shop, eat etc.. Would like to take lots of Aussie thank-you souveniers to give away - do you have any suggestions. Do frequent travellers have any must-see or must-do activities to help me find the best of Bali. I'm staying at Hotel Padma. Looking forward to meeting the locals and spending lots of aussie $$$.
