Right now it's hard to get at the truth with the media trying to out do each other in telling the most unlikely stories.
No Bombs were planted anywhere.
There were 7 Bombs as far as we can tell that were designed to be carried by teenagers that had been brainwashed into manually detonating them while wearing them.
Seems three went ahead with it, the others not being totally stupid, managed to put their brains into gear, came to their senses dumped the Bombs and ran into hiding.
Its easy to get caught up in all the hype in trying to discount the silliest stories put about by the press, it is quite hard to get down to the bottom of it.
I made the mistake of trying to count up the amount of people going to the different hospitals etc, and adding them together to get a breakdown of dead and injured only to find out later that those that did not make it were transferred to Sanglah Hospital so I was counting double the amount of people I thought were dead.
I think your friend may be doing similar by taking the real story and adding it to the misinformed press stories then coming up with double the number as I did before I received the correct information from a totally reliable source who was in a position to know the true story.
