I have just sent an Email to QANTAS thanking them for the wonderful job they did getting everyone home.
They put on an extra 4 flights. The first 3 getting 536 people home in the first 2 days.
QANTAS staff volunteered to staff the extra flights and assist in Bali. There were medical and councelling staff at the airport and on the planes.
QANTAS took people home regardless of who they were booked with.
It's nice to know that they can get organised so quickly to evacuate people in a time of need (perhaps Bush may want their number?).

Flights are only 1/2- 2/3 full for the next few weeks but most school holidays are over tomorrow so it is not expected for them to be full. Hopefully they don't have to cut flights.
Just wanted to balance out the QANTAS debate as QANTAS gets a fair amount of bashing on this forum.
