Just got this from my travel agent regarding Garuada. Its part of the advice that came out yesterday. Hope it helps some with there travel plans.
Part of the advice says:
Due to the recent events in Bali, Garuda Indonesia has revised our deferment/cancellation policy for passengers to Bali with tickets issued up to/
including 01 October2005 as follows:
Cancellation: Ticketed passengers may cancel without penalty. This excludes penalties imposed by suppliers or third parties. Refunds must be
submitted to Garuda Indonesia Sydney on or prior to 30 November, 2005.
Passengers wishing to defer travel to Bali:
All passengers may defer travel for up to 12months without penalty subject to the conditions below:
If the change results in the passenger travelling in a more expensive period, additional supplements may apply. If the original class of travel is not
available, passengers can be re-booked into the lowest class available (this means lowest fare)
Agents must contact Garuda to advise of their passenger's intention not to travel on the original ticketed dates
and cancel their booked flights. ALL changes to travel dates must be completed by 31 October, 2005.
