Back again!!

The last few days of our 7 day trip were busy but nice. Decided i needed to do a little shopping.
Went to Dianes in Tuban. She had been so busy and had trouble getting my sizes.(Still got them though she just sent out for them ) My friend who left there after the bomb says Diane was devastated cos she had just stocked up cos the demand was there.
After reading on the forum about the pearl seller on the beach outside Jayakarta i went looking for him (Sahara). He doesn't arrive till about 4pm. All the other sellers tell me his lazy. Anyway i wanted a single pearl to put on a chain. A phone call bought his friend and i chose a pearl (a beautiful light gold one). Cost350000rp about $45au.
I think he made a mistake and he told me not to tell anyone so just keep this between us!! I had to pay some upfront so he could pay for the gold to put in it. Pickup in 2 days. Guess what he didn't come till a phone was made by lover lover (another beach seller). Its not ready tomorrow!! I leave tomorrow so another time was set. Not there again. Another phone call and i decide i had lost my money. Another time set and this time he eventually came.
I have a gorgeous pearl to give my mother for Christmas.

Alls well that ends well!!

Monday saw us go back to The Pub in Kuta to pick up our novelty rings for the kids made by Made the barman. More really cold bintang and ecxellent sates. They came out still sizzling on the tray. No peanut sauce but a nice chilli/soy sauce concoction.
We took our friends with us this time and then continued on back at the executive room at the Dynasty. Followed by tea at Gracie Kellys.
My fave I had the steak and can recommend the sex on the beach cocktails.

I love the 'irish' band. Very entertaining.

Tuesday was a day spent by the pool and then off to Tannah LOt for the sunset. I loved the temple out is the ocean. The views were spectacular. The markets were quite nice. No hassling so had a bit of a look but didn't need anymnore shopping.
Got dropped off off in Legian st for Tea. Can't remember the name but dinner was ok. Sat upstairs and even though it was quite open it was very hot.

Wednesady!! Time to go home. Just went back to Wayans in Garlic Lane to pick up a couple of things i ordered. The sat by the pool and had lunch and relaxed a little before it was time to go.

This was my 3rd time in Bali. I have now stayed in Sanur, Tuban and Legian. We had the kids with us in Tuban and had drinking partners at the other 2.
I loved Sanur cos it was very relaxing.
I liked the hotel in Tuban but in hindsight it was way too busy out on the street for me. Nice restaurants though.
I loved Legian cos it was alot quieter . I liked being on the beach even though i didn't swim there its nice to look at.

If i go back i would probably choose Legian again. I say if cos Bali is the only place i have been to overseas and i would like to go to others to compare. Then i can choose my fave place that is my choice.
In saying that i can see in the years to come i will go back. Just can't say for now when that may be.
