Back Sunday morning from another great holiday, we spent most of our time on Lombok and Gili Trawangan, both really great places, stayed at The Intan Lombok Village, Senniggi, biggest pool I have ever seen and our room was beautiful, great hotel no complaint.
Then over to Gili Trawangan, we stayed at The Vila Alamrik, really great place and such friendly owners and staff, beautiful big room and the whole place was so clean, we really enjoyed the Gili Islands so quite and laid back, great places to eat, my son loved the Bali huts that you sat in and ate dinner and watched a dvd, did day trips to Gili Meno & Air also very beautiful, wonderful blue water. Had only planned to spend a week over there ended up spending nearly two.
Back to Bali, I had as part of our package a week at Su's Prince Hotel in Double Six booked but after spending two nights at the beginning we did not go back there, we only had a double room and it was small dark and horrible horribble horrible, they had 2 bedroom villas that would be great for a family but they where all booked, after a bit a looking around found a great little hotel in Rum Jungle Rd, near the Courtyard Apartment and The Baleka, called Bali Village Hotel, we had a deluxe room for $30.00 aud, great room a really good size, beautiful gardens, small but good pool and nice staff, in a really good spot would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget hotel in Legian.
