We stayed in tuban back in may at Bakungs Beach Cottages.....we loved....despite some of the comments made on the forum it was a very relaxing resort.....remember one thing...If you want 5 star there is always port douglas for the weekend, but there sure aint anywhere else with the Balinese people.
We did check out BGH and GG for future reference and thought they were both fine but will probably stay at Bakung Beach again because our friends are in the lane out front.
The tuban locals are wonderful and it is a "Pleasent" walk from kuta, Definatly would feel safer around there, yet you still have easier access to what kuta has t ooffer.
