We arrived home 1 week before the blasts after having stayed at Le Meridien for 12 nights with another family and 5 children between us 3-8 years. There is security before driving into the resort that check-over the car. There is also security patrols throughout the resort daily and all night. We went between rooms during the night to have a drink with friends. One night we had the security bar on the room door in front of the door to keep it open (we were all in our room), and security knocked to let us know. Our friends went up to the room late at night for them all to go to bed, and left the key in the door by mistake. Security took it out and handed it into reception. We all felt very safe at this resort! The resort is so beautiful you won't want to leave it!
