Gili Trawangan is a small island, no cars, no motorbikes and no dogs, (lots of cats though). I don't think you will find it to long to stay for a week. Once there you'll find lots of things to do. Snorkeling, take a diving certificate if you don't have one already diving, horsebackriding, canooing, surfing, rent a bike and go around the island , walk around the island, go out with the glassbottomboat, visit Gili Meno and Gili Air on daytrips, arrange a fishing trip, Climb the hill for a beautiful view and sunset. Party in the central area at night, watch a movie at one of the restaurants in central. Don't forget to just enjoy and relax and talk to the locals.
