Unfortunately I am one of those who can't return to Bali right now - but in light of what has happened over the last week would like to support the locals there as much as possible. 99% of people who visit this site love Bali and want to help the locals as much as possible - here is my idea.
Further down the message board is a subject re. Bali online. Is anyone interested in contributing something along these lines - can we help with modern technology? I for one am happy to purchase anything(even the herbal viagra because I know it is available!!) on a secure site. I suppose (subject to each government's restrictions re. post etc) the products are endless - save maybe for the braiding, massage, manicures etc. Is there a shop there that will post dvd's? Is there a Bali online shop that I can contribute to? Am I stepping over the boundaries? I just want to help them and at the moment - feel bloody useless.
Please don't tell me to contribute to their charities - been there and still do it.
Just an idea but any other thoughts would be appreciated.
