I know exactly how you feel. We are supposed to go in 4 weeks and my husband is still keen to go. He has left the decision up to me and as much as I want to go (we have waited SO LONG for this trip!) I still can't help thinking about my girls (7 & 5). Like you, I also keep thinking that if we just stick to the basics we'll be OK and that Waterbom Park and the elephant park etc..should be alright. Just when I decide that we SHOULD go someone starts crapping on about how 'stupid' we would be to go, or "your not going to take the kids!" etc... and it puts me off again! I would say that it is fairly likely we will go, but I think I will see what happens in the next week or two and then decide for sure. I would really like to get excited about it again like we were before. Good luck with your decision and if you do go have a great time.
