I can only tell you what I've seen, as I haven't stayed anywhere else in Sanur but the Plaza Suites, but my girlfriend alway stays at Putri Santrian and she is very fussy and absolutely loves it. She has hubby and two kids 8 - 10 years old. I have walked around the grounds and it is really lovely. Also, just down from the beach markets are a couple of nice hotels, one being the Griya Santrian, which I haven't seen inside, but have walked around the grounds and that seems lovely too, very quiet. Not as nice as Putri though. And near that one is the Besakih Beach hotel. My Brother and his wife have just come back from 3 weeks there and really liked it. It is a cheaper hotel, but also vey nice, and in a great location to everything on the beach. I didn't like the look of the Sanur Plaza Hotel, and friends didn't enjoy their stay there as much as Plaza Suites. I think if I were looking for a place to stay on the beach in Sanur, I would stay at the Putri Santrian. Have a search on the forum and see what others say about this place. Hope that helps!
