Subject: Air Paradise Updated Cancellation Policy
Released: Wednesday 05 October - 6:30PM EST.
Dear Industry Partner,
After careful consideration of the situation regarding cancellation fees for passengers travelling to Bali, we wish to advise of the following changes to our policy:
1. For passengers departing from Australia to Bali up to and including 31 October 2005, no cancellation fees will be charged for those passengers wishing to cancel.
2. For passengers holding tickets for any departure date until 31 March 2006, deferment to a same season departure (i.e. basic season ticket holders may only travel basic season etc) is available for departures up to and including 31 August 2006.
This is offered for any tickets issued up to and including 01 October 2005.
Please note that for passengers wishing to defer, a new booking must be made (and the ticket received by API for reissue) no later than 15 December 2005.
The current booking held must be cancelled no later than 31 October 2005.
Failure to comply with these conditions will result in full standard cancellation fees ($275 pp) being applied.
3. Passengers ticketed for departures from 01 November 2005, will be subject to a cancellation/admin fee of $110 per adult inclusive of GST.
API is offering a 100% waiver for any fees for children and infants, regardless of date of travel.
Please note that this reduction in cancellation fee is only applicable to tickets issued up to and including 01 October 2005, and must be cancelled no later than 31 October 2005.
Any bookings cancelled after 31 October 2005 will revert to the normal cancellation fee of $275 pp.
We have noted that other carriers to Bali have made their own policies however we understand that most retail and wholesale partners intend to charge fees for passengers cancelling outright for departures post 31 October 2005.
Please also note that with the expected volume of refund applications, that there will be some delay in refund requests, outside of our normal refund timelines and parameters. We appreciate your cooperation in communicating this to your clients.
Please feel free to contact the API Brisbane office should you require any further clarification on these matters.
Kind regards,
Air Paradise International
