If you can get it you should get some TAMIFLU before you go. There is Birdflu in Jakarta but none as I know of in Bali, but I have heard that most of the chickens eaten in Bali come from near Jakarta so make sure if you have chicken to eat that it is cooked well. You souhld have no trouble in October with bombs as it is the month of Ramadan (the month of fasting for Islam) leading up to Idul Fitri on the 3 and 4 November
