I'm staying there from 9 October and emailed them this mornning to ask if they have upgraded security. This is part of the email they sent back to me. Note the typos are not mine.
After unexpexted bomb blast at Kuta and Jimbaran on 1st October 2005, we at Melasti Resort have increase our security policy
all local guests are checked carefully and all cars are inspected with metal detector and spy mirror.
With strebgthen security policy, we trust that semilar incident will not happen at our ptroperty./
