Hello didiaust,

The world is full of hate, dont be niave. The world is also full of a great many wonderful things that the western society appreciates and values.

Isnt it a better thing to have people go off the deep end, or act "irrational" on a forum rather than in real life. I belive thats the basis for terrorism anyway isnt it? not to erradicate, but to scare and put on demonstrations, or send messages, even though very often they are the only ones that understand them, and in many cases the terrorists only understand what they have been brainwashed into believed or they have been sheltered from the truths.

We have the freedom to post our concerns and feelings or beliefs into this forum without threat of the government or gangs or groups of people "punishing" us. (yes people get flamed and i mostly likely will for this post, but dont stress about the things you cant change, life is too short)

We can Agree to disagree and get on with living your life. I wont be going back to Bali not for fear of being injured or killed, but because i disagree with the way the country is run and its childish laws and regulations. I compare it to children playing house that makes up its laws as they go a long, unless financial gains can be made by the judge or policeman (i cant say policeman without laughing)

As far as visiting that country, if you have never been before, i would indeed go, but follow their laws. I found the experience of Bali very eye opening, and the bali people were lovely people and very friendly. I found the Javanese people arrogant rude and self important and lacking compassion and intelligence, but i'm sure that blanket stereo type is incorrect, it was mainly the people that i met on my trip. I never saw that quality in the balinese people that i met.

my trip was great, but i chose never to go back, i will go see other places in asia. I hope it sends a message to indonesia, that the handouts will stop along with their lack of compassion for their own people and travelers in their country. Clean up your act.

PS you forgot to mention South Australia in your list of Australian states.
