Please be sure though that you take advantage of any counselling you are offered. As a practising Christian, I initally thought I wouldn't need any after 2002, just cry about the loss of a good friend and pray and it would all be OK. However, when I did sit down with people trained to listen and advise, I found that I verbalised many things that had haunted me. I can still remember them, but they don't have the same effect on me now.
