There are a number of very fine Silversmiths in Celuk just north of Sanur about a 15 minute Taxi ride, they have their workshops there with their retail shops out the front.
It is quality work at a quality price, most frequented by the Japanese Tourists, they bus them in and they spend up big I believe, so not being noted for their bargaining the prices are maintained high as they know they will get another busload along soon.
I seem to recall in one place there was a couple of silver topped walking sticks, unfortunately I don't remember where as it was a couple of trips ago, however I would ask about in your hotel most people are willing to share their shopping tips.
Better still look out for one of the Balinese Staff Ladies probably on the front counter wearing jewellery and ask her were to go, sorry not much help, good luck.
