At $4700 a holiday they could fly a half full plane and still make money.
But perhaps they make more from other locations ,perhaps financial interests in resorts in other locations, and maybe there are reasons airlines fly to certain locations that are not just about money, especially if you are the hem'hem " official airline " . Probably beyond our knowing.
Really Bad financially , relative to the bigger picture maybe there are reasons that either of us do not know. They certainly don't seem to ever be in any hurry to fly more tourists to Bali even when all appears safe and people cant get flights so i guess i feel a little hesitant to fully open my heart to believing in thier Great Affection for Bali.
My Experience is Air Paradise beats them hands feet and heads down in supporting Bali so if one want to support Bali , best to support those that support Bali who can and most probably will do even more to " Support Bali " .
Personally I find i get enough Australia in Australia . Nice to get into the culture of a foreign country as soon as possible. Pretty hard do that on a Qantas flight, bless thier little lambswool and cotton sox. Thats my preference , whatever anyone else chooses to do , i totally support them.
