We stayed at the Puri Santrian 10 years ago for our Honeymoon and loved it. We are going back (hopefully) arriving 22nd Oct I think it is, to celebrate our 10th Anniv and my 40th birthday.
I'm from Scotland and I have to admit, there is a big difference in what people think here, that what I am getting from the Australians on this board. I think if I were to cancel, most would think why? I don't know if it is the different culture or whether being closer to Bali Australians are more aware of the problems?
I feel working in Glasgow city centres financial district I am at risk every day, we think it will happen, we just don't know when.
Friends of ours were coming to Bali with us (we met them on our honeymoon). For personal reasons we had to cancel early in the year, so they booked Egypt instead, when Egypt was targeted we called them and said cancel Egypt and come to Bali!! They didn't of course and are in Egypt now, and it is Bali who is targeted. Who knows where is safe?
Sorry - going off topic of Sanur.
ps how busy is Sanur now? When we were thre 10 years ago it was a quiet resort and mainly just eating places no bars, I was hoping not much will have changed, and even more so now.
