I work at flight centre, There was a statement released 2night saying that anyone who is travelling up and until the 31st october(prev was 16th) will now waive cancellation fees. At the moment this just applies to packages booked thru your agent, Air paradise, Garuda and Australian airlines are reviewing their policies(for just tickets booked,no accom) and will be announced asap...
I just got back a week ago(have been going twice a year for a while..)and i have no words for this at all...
One of my good friends who works at a hotel in seminyak is now worried that he will lose his job and have to go back to the village.
Im sorry to say this i think this will become a reality for some balinese.. Im sorry if i offend anyone but im not going to let them stop me from going back! ill be here to support the balinese in the time that they need us most...and i will definetly be going back in feb as booked...
