Hi all. I posted a message asking about Bali accommodation just a few minutes before the bombs on Saturday, and I am still resolute in my desire to support the Balinese.
We (my partner and I) were, and still are, planning a 14-day trip to Bali in June next year. At this stage we are planning on 7 nights in Seminyak at the Dusun Villas and then another 7 nights somewhere else, as yet undecided. I am familiar with the Sanur/Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area, but for this last 7 nights we'd love to head somewhere out of that region, maybe a few hours away. We are looking for somewhere remote, quiet, beachfront, where we can basically lie on a stunning beach and do nothing for a week. The big thing for us is relative solitude - we'd love to spend the week somewhere private and quiet.
Open to $$, location etc. and would really appreciate some suggestions. Prior to Saturday we were keen to get back to Bali (haven't been since 12/10/02) and enjoy this beautiful country and it's beautiful people, and we are still steadfast in our plans to do so.
