Have just got back a week ago can't believe how lucky we were but at the same time feel so so sad for the beautiful Balinese people we met over there. I took my two teenagers 16 and 18 over it was thier 1st time they are both saying we HAVE to go back next year as planned.
Anyway we stayed at Dewi Sri Cottages and felt very safe security is at the front entrance 24/7.The cottages are older but VERY clean and the family rooms are huge. Being a smaller hotel the staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, please say hi to Putu from Greg and Janet, he has just had a baby and called him Austin. Breakfast is yummy and with linen changed daily thats 5 star to me!! I hope you are able to enjoy your holiday I think you are doing the right thing.
