We arrived in Bali Saturday the 1st Oct at 1pm. We are staying in SanurParadise Plaza Hotel. On Saturday nite we were in Corridor restaurant in Sanur. Many Balinese were very shocked and frightened at losing many more tourist. They called us into Retro Bar to come and see the news of Kuta and Jimbaran. They did everything they knew how to make us feel welcome and safe. Today its quiet and not many Aussies around. This morning as we walked out to get breakfast there were 4 Aussie Airforce and 7 Aussie Army.
A couple from the UK said they sat with 4 Forensic police for breakfast in the hotel. They are staying in the hotel. If these guys are staying in this hotel they must see it as safe. We have today been down to the Sanur beach it is very quiet more so than normal. We have been to Arena Sports Cafe for dinner just now and it is packed with many tourists.
